Interactive Map of North America: Geography Educational Game
The North America Puzzle is a free online geography learning game designed to help you study the sovereign states and independent territories of the North American continent. Featuring the political borders established up to 2016, this drag-and-drop exercise is an excellent "Minute to win it" tool for desktop computers, laptops, and tablets. It is part of the Planeta 42 Interactive World Maps educational toolset.
Exploring the Continent
North America is the third-largest continent in the world, stretching all the way from the frigid Arctic Ocean in the north to the tropical Isthmus of Panama in the south. The continent boasts an incredible variety of environments, political structures, and cultures.
By studying the shapes and borders of these countries, students gain a better spatial understanding of how massive nations like Canada and the United States share the continent with smaller, densely populated nations across Central America and the Caribbean.
How to play North America Puzzle
There are 15 graphical puzzle pieces representing the shapes of North American countries situated on the left side of the screen. Your task is to drag and drop them into their correct geographical locations within the outlined North America continent on the right. If dropped incorrectly, the country shape will bounce back to your hand until it is placed accurately.
