British Isles Puzzle: Geography Educational Game
British Isles Online Puzzle is a free educational knowledge level game about the British Islands region. Featuring the 6 largest countries and states, this drag-and-drop interactive exercise is perfect for desktop computers, laptops, and tablets. It serves as an excellent visual tool for online lessons, interactive classes, and exciting homework assignments regarding the geography of Great Britain and Ireland.
Exploring the British Archipelago
The British Isles are a group of islands off the north-western coast of continental Europe that consist of the islands of Great Britain, Ireland, and over six thousand smaller isles. Not all of the countries in the British Isles are part of the United Kingdom, as the Republic of Ireland is completely independent, and the Isle of Man is a self-governing Crown dependency. This interactive map exercise helps students identify the political boundaries and locations of the major states in this historic region.
How to play British Isles Puzzle
There are 6 pieces of British countries and states situated on the left side of the screen. Drag and drop them in their correct places within the outlined British Isles map on the right. If dropped incorrectly, the pictures will return to your hand until sorted out correctly. There is a small counter to the bottom right. It is used only for evaluation in fun classes and will not affect the knowledge level achievement. Complete the puzzle with 6 tries for an "A" and more than 10 tries for an "F".

Did you know?
• Great Britain vs. The UK: Great Britain is simply the geographical name of the largest island (which contains England, Scotland, and Wales). The United Kingdom is the political country, which includes Great Britain plus Northern Ireland.
• The Isle of Man: Located in the Irish Sea between Great Britain and Ireland, the Isle of Man is not part of the UK or the European Union. It is a self-governing British Crown dependency with its own parliament, laws, and even its own unique currency!
• Thousands of Islands: While the puzzle features the largest landmasses, the British Isles actually consist of over 6,000 individual islands, including famous archipelagos like the Hebrides, Shetlands, and Orkneys.
