The Night Watch painting puzzle.

"The Night Watch Puzzle" is a free online knowledge level game, about the most famous Rembrandt van Rijn painting The Night Watch. It is a small square rotating puzzle for desktop computers, laptops and tablets, which may be played in the web browser. Just sort the pieces of the drawing. The painting is split in 5 rows and 8 columns, forming 40 squares. Click on the square to rotate it, until it fits the original image. The "hint" button can be pressed to reveal unsorted pieces. Fitting more squares of the painting, will unhide the most right information about it.

The Night Watch is a 1642 painting by Rembrandt van Rijn. It is in the collection of the Amsterdam Museum but is prominently displayed in the Rijksmuseum as the best known painting in its collection. The Night Watch is one of the most famous Dutch Golden Age paintings.

The painting is famous for three things: its colossal size (363 cm x 437 cm (11.91 ft x 14.34 ft)), the dramatic use of light and shadow (tenebrism) and the perception of motion in what would have traditionally been a static military group portrait.
