Test your vexillology skills in this interactive exercise! It is a brilliant "Minute to win it" tool for geography lessons, remote learning, and testing your visual memory of international flags.
Banners of the North American Continent
Flags are powerful symbols of national identity, history, and culture. The countries of North and Central America feature some of the most recognisable flags in the world, from the iconic Canadian Maple Leaf to the Stars and Stripes of the United States.
Studying these banners helps students understand regional similarities and distinct historical paths. For example, the flags of several Central American nations (like Nicaragua, Honduras, and El Salvador) share similar blue and white horizontal stripes, a nod to their shared history in the Federal Republic of Central America.
How to play Flags of North America Quiz
