Polyamides (PA) or (Nylons) - (CHNO)n – fibers, toothbrush bristles, tubing, fishing line. Nylon 66 - (C12H22N2O2)n
Polycarbonate (PC) – (C15H16O2)n - compact discs, eyeglasses, riot shields, security windows, traffic lights and lenses.

Polychloroprene (PCP) or (Neoprene) - (C4H5Cl)n - laptop sleeves, electrical insulation, liquid and sheet-applied elastomeric membranes or flashings, and automotive fan belts.
