Class subject: Ancient Pyramids.

In modern days it is clear that people all around the world have built pyramids, without knowing for each other. Why is the form of pyramid so close to people's mind, when they had to build something big, for their Great Ones? We on Planeta 42 speculate, that it is the embodyment of control and power. Imagine, you have to maintain one site up and running. It should be easy checking and fixing malfunctions. Now imagine there are 10 sites. Bearable too. Then we have 100 sites. Now you have to devide by 10 and get 5 men to be responsible for 10 sites each. Then there are 1000 sites and 50 men. Now you will have to devide the men, and put another man to be responsible for a group, and so on and so on - the structure of a pyramid :)

Here are the included pyramids:

1. Ziggurat of Tepe Sialk - Kashan, Iran 3000 BC
2. Pyramid of Djoser - Memphis, Egypt 2610 BC
3. Pyramid of Khufu - Giza, Egypt 2560 BC
4. Ziggurat of Ur - City of Ur, Iraq 2100 BC
5. Ziggurat of Chogha Zanbil - Khuzestan, Iran 1250 BC
6. Tomb of King Kashta - Shendi, Sudan 500 BC
7. Jebel Barkal Pyramid - Karima, Sudan 300 BC
8. Qin Shi Mausoleum - Xi'an, China 210 BC
