An engine can be put into a category according to two criteria: the form of energy it accepts in order to create motion, and the type of motion it outputs. The internal combustion engine is an engine in which the combustion of a fuel occurs with an air in a combustion chamber. Such engines are Gas Engine, Diesel Engine and Gasoline Engine. Air-breathing engines are engines that use the oxygen in atmospheric air to burn the fuel, rather than carrying an oxidiser. Such engines are Jet Engine, Steam Engine and Turbine Engine. Electric and Magnetic engines are Non-combusting engines. Others, not included in the game, are Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Gravity engines.
