The National Average Salary is the mean salary for the working population of a nation. It is calculated by summing all the annual salaries of all persons in work and dividing the total by the number of workers. It is not the same as the Gross domestic product (GDP) per capita, which is calculated by dividing the GDP by the total population of a country, including the unemployed and those not in the workforce. This indicator though is not very accurate measure for the countrys' economic wellness as the minimal monthly salary, because of the golden rule 80/20, which means that approximately 20% of the peaople of the given country get 80% of the volume wages, which pull up the average line too high. Also the populattion count is quite important. For example Norway is not very populated, so the percentage of the poor is extremly small, putting the average line very high.
